Life’s Not All Roses:

Life’s Not All Roses: A Mother’s Journey With Twins, Disability, And Adapting To Change
Writing Life’s Not All Roses: A Mother’s Journey With Twins, Disability, And Adapting To Change has been my project for the last two years. This is my story – my life, and how I dealt with challenging circumstances. I write in conversation-style; highlighting my favourite life stories. I pride myself on overcoming trials and heartache to being the courageous, strong woman I am now.
This memoir is a compelling account about raising my son Mitchell (he has several disabilities), how I managed with three babies under the age of two (twins and a toddler), and life since the devastating experience of my marriage breakup.
This memoir is for parents, special-needs teachers and caregivers, professionals working with children, and anyone who wants to learn more about disabilities, multiple birth, and moving forward after difficult times. I warmly invite you to read this book. I hope that you will see just how much my children mean to me and how they’ve made me believe I have done a great job of parenting. No parent is by any means perfect – I am the best parent I can be. I overcame trials – those experiences made me a better person.
